Sarah Coombs

Vice President of Addiction Services

Sarah has been with Bay Cove for 20 years, beginning as a Residential Counselor, and working her way up through a variety of roles in the agency’s Mental Health and Homelessness Services. A champion of “housing first” principles, Sarah started Bay Cove’s Home at Last (HAL) program, transforming the pages of a grant proposal to a thriving program, housing individuals experiencing long-term street homelessness. She has overseen residential services, acute psychiatric community services, and our dual diagnosis men's shelter, and prior to her promotion to VP, served as Director of Service Implementation & Improvement within Mental Health Community Services.

Sarah is a licensed mental health counselor and a licensed alcohol and drug counselor, and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Connecticut College and a CAGS and master’s degree in counseling psychology from Cambridge College.
