Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

The warehouse at On the Dot was filled with excitement, music, thousands of donations, and amazing energy this Giving Tuesday!

We are excited to share the success of our recent volunteer packing day for the Give Warmth – Give Hope campaign, a heartfelt initiative aimed at providing winter essentials to over 600 of our homeless and unhoused neighbors. The event was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with compassion and a shared mission.

Volunteers from all walks of life gathered to assemble winter packages filled with essential items such as warm clothing, gloves, hats, boots and jackets. Each package was individually packed with care and consideration for those who need it most, ensuring that our neighbors facing the harsh New England winter will have the resources to stay warm and safe.

The energy in the room was infectious—laughter, teamwork, and the genuine desire to make a difference were palpable. Volunteers not only packed bags but also shared stories, connected with one another, and reflected on the impact of their efforts. Together, we surpassed our goal, ensuring that every individual in need will receive the warmth and hope that comes with knowing their community cares.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who donated their time, energy, and resources to make this event a success. Your dedication has a lasting impact and brings comfort to those who need it most.

A big thank you to our corporate partners: M&T Bank (matching donations until 12/31), Amazon, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Bombas, Flour Bakery + Cafe, Cushman and Wakefield Real Estate, Core Investments and On the Dot. We could not serve so many without your support.

As winter approaches, let’s continue to stand together and support our neighbors. If you missed this event but would still like to contribute, there are still ways to get involved—whether through donations, fundraising with friends or family, or simply spreading the word about the Give Warmth – Give Hope campaign, which runs through December 31st.

Together, we are making a real difference. Thank you for helping us spread warmth and hope throughout our community!
