ABOUT US
We help people live their best lives.
Each year, we help more than 25,000 adults, children and families in Southeastern Massachusetts thrive with major life challenges like:
mental illness,
developmental disabilities,
homelessness,
substance use disorders, and
difficulties associated with aging.
If you or someone you know has struggled with one of these issues, then you know how hard they can be to face alone.
At Bay Cove, we know that everyone has their own unique set of dreams and goals and the potential to achieve them.
We’ve been doing good work for over 45 years in the Boston area—and with your help, we’re ready for 45 more.

OUR LEADERSHIP
Exceptional, everyday human beings.
At Bay Cove, we deeply understand the complexity of challenges our clients deal with daily, many of which cannot be addressed by one division or organization alone. We keep our humanity at the forefront of our client care and when supporting our staff.
People familiar with non-profit organizations are often surprised that our staff are able to run 175 programs across Southeastern Massachusetts with an annual budget of $180M. We’re pretty happy about that, too.

OUR HISTORY
From the beginning, we focused on treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Bay Cove’s legendary guiding principles — that every human being has potential and deserves to live a life achieving their dreams and goals — have been baked in us since 1974.
Forty-five years ago, a single alcohol detox program for adults started by Dan Boynton was the first ‘drop in the bucket’ that would continue to expand and grow Bay Cove into 175 different programs.
