Bay Cove Welcomes Brian Teague to Our Board of Directors

Bay Cove Human Services is tremendously proud to announce the recent election of Brian Teague as the newest member of our Board of Directors. We are privileged to welcome Brian, a professional with an extensive background in development, organizational strategy, and nonprofit fundraising, to our governing board.

Brian is Director of Prospect Management and Research at PRX, a Boston-based non-profit media company specializing in audio journalism and storytelling. Prior to joining PRX, he spent more than six years at The Greater Boston Food Bank in a variety of roles, culminating in the position of Manager of Development, Prospect Research and Strategy.

Outside of his professional activities, Brian has always had a deep commitment to non-profit causes. In 2017, he was one of the founding members of Bay Cove’s Young Professional Advocates, a group formed with the goal of spreading awareness among the next generation of Bay Cove supporters and advocates, while also fundraising to support Bay Cove's programs and services. For more than 11 years, Brian has been part of Team Intestinal Fortitude (TIF), a startup non-profit that raises funds and awareness for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. He serves as Managing Director of TIF, which has become one of the most successful fundraising initiatives in CCF history.

In addition to Brian’s work with Bay Cove and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, he is an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and currently serves as the Director of Community Outreach and External Affairs for Boston’s FLAG Flag Football (FFF) league, the largest LGBTQIA+ sports league in New England. In this capacity, Brian leads FFF’s LGBTQIA+ Youth Scholarship efforts and oversees the league's community partnerships.

All of us at Bay Cove are thrilled to welcome Brian to our Board of Directors! If you would like to learn more about how to support Bay Cove by joining one of our agency’s boards and committees, please visit https://www.baycovehumanservices.org/volunteer.
