In the heart of Cambridge and Somerville, one Bay Cove Human Services program stands as a pillar of support and hope for individuals and families facing substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental health challenges. CASPAR (Cambridge and Somerville Program for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Rehabilitation) has long been a champion of community wellness, providing essential services and resources to those in need. Now more than ever, we are joining forces for a common cause: to strengthen our communities and empower individuals on their journey to recovery and resilience and to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of CASPAR becoming a Bay Cove affiliate program!
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Strengthening Our Communities Fundraiser, an event that promises to be a celebration of compassion, collaboration, and community impact. Set against the backdrop of shared commitment and solidarity, the fundraiser aims to raise critical funds to support the life-changing programs and services offered by CASPAR.
This year's celebration at the MIT Welcome Center will honor and showcase the vital work of CASPAR's First Step Street Outreach Team and will honor former Mayor Joseph Curtatone for his impact on CASPAR over the years.
